What a beautiful winter wonderland wedding to end the year on!!
From being continents then states apart, Camila and Andrus sealed the deal and are finally married! They were pretty much counting down the seconds till they were married; it was so adorable! The cold did not bother these two love birds one bit and they could not stop smiling and looking at each other on their special day. Camila and Andrus met this past summer where their love for reach other was discovered and their relationship started to grow. After just one month of dating, they knew without a doubt they wanted to be together forever. With Camila being in California and Andrus in Utah, their long distance relationship was anything but easy. Nothing was going to stop them from them being with each other as they talked often and flew down to see one another when they could. On one visit where Andrus was visiting Camila, they went down to San Francisco and had a lovely dinner at a sushi place. They then took a walk down the beach and that is where Andrus popped the question! Camila of course said yes and she could not be happier! It was a cold snowy day at the Bountiful temple and there was so much fog you could not see more than a few feet in front of you! This poor bride's family is from Peru and recently moved to sunny California and did not quite know what to think about all of the snow. I totally knew how they felt being from southern Arizona and this being my first winter living in Utah. As Camila and Andrus exited from the temple, everyone was all smiles and their happiness was contagious. It was not hard to tell the time I spent with Camila and Andrus that their love for each other was so sincere and sweet. I literally was tearing up during their reception when both Camila and Andrus were emotional while giving their speeches towards each other. It was a night of tears as I watched Camila and her dad dance to a song that was so special to them that they sang often with watch other. The song Camila and Andrus danced to was one he used to sing to her over the phone and over video when they would talk while being so far away from each other. Their story is ones that made my heart happy and made me realize that love is patient and selfless. The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughter, and of course Peruvian food! I am so grateful I got to meet this sweet couple and their families while being a part of their special day. The cold and snow was so worth it and made for a gorgeous background!
