What a magical day!!! I was super worried about the weather for Taylor and Matt's formal session with the forecast predicted rain all day. I packed some umbrellas and rain cover gear for my camera and headed to Salt Lake with fingers crossed and a prayer in my heart that it would not rain. I was so glad the first location they picked was a studio and an amazing one at that! We avoided the rain and stayed indoors instead. Taylor and Matt were pros and this was easy stuff for them because they had learned everything during their engagement session!
Taylor's dress from Mary's Bridal was to die for! The beaded details were incredible and was perfect for twirling. Her bouquet was made by her mom! So awesome right?! Taylor's hair and makeup artist did a phenomenal job and made her look even more gorgeous than she already was. I am so glad the skinny floral ties are still in because I have been dying to have a groom wear one! Taylor and Matt are the kind of couple where they are not super shy but neither are they crazy loud or bubbly. They both have personalities just right in the middle and they are so similar. I love the relationship we have and how well we were able to talk and laugh throughout their session! We definitely received a miracle because the minute we went to Temple Square, the sky cleared up! It being a holiday, I assumed and planned for there to be tons of people when there was 5 people!! I could not believe we basically had the temple to ourselves, it was incredible. And yes- there was GREEN grass there, it was beautiful!! It was so adorable to see Taylor and Matt's smiles get bigger as the session went on and how they said it was starting to feel real now and they could not be more excited. I was getting that feeling too!! I am SO stoked for their wedding next month and fingers crossed the weather is just as good as it was!!
